Getting there

Palm beach is situated an hour's drive a north of Sydney Internatinal Airport. For international travellers a complimentary limosine service is made available for arrival and departure.

Car hire is available with all major international service providers.

TV/Satellite

‘Foxtel Digital’ satellite service is available throughout the house with seven TV sets in total. International channels available are Sky News, FOX News, CNN, BBC World, Bloomberg and CNBC Australia.

Both VCR and DVD are available on all sets and there is music from both radio and CD available on the top two levels and outside in the pool/barbecue area.

Every bedroom has its own private bath plus an additional powder room on each of the top two floors. Outdoor shower facilities off the garage/carport level.

Bond/Deposit

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and payment of the total rental and security deposit is required 30 days prior to occupancy commencing. One weeks rent (the security deposit) will be held for fourteen days after the property is vacated.

Telephones are placed strategically throughout the house and can be moved to any room as required. There are two lines for local use only.

Fully monitored security system with video feed of external areas and the pool available on all TV sets.

Sport

The Palm Beach Golf Club is a ten minute walk down the beach from the house and provides a friendly environment on a nine hole course. There are numerous other courses within a short driving distance. Pittwater offers the novice or experienced sailor a unique Australian sailing experience. Boats or all sizes are available to hire from various local marina's. Pittwater also caters for international cruisers and large vessels. Information on securing deep water mooring can be arranged prior to arrival.

Beach

All beach activities are catered for at Palm Beach and there is a large salt water pool at the south end of the beach. Sea kayak and boat hire is just over the hill on the Pittwater side as is sea plane transport to the Sydney CBD. Their is also a local ferry service to various points of interest.

Shopping

Primary shopping is located in the Avalon village which is a ten minute drive away. There are numerous specialty/boutique shops and cafes as well as a movie theatre and supermarket.

Pool

The pool is 12.5 meters in length and is heated to 27C or 80F by solar with a gas backup.
